📌 Q&A
Q. What happened to “Moonlit Gale” that was revealed in the roadmap ?
- We are currently working on internal polishing, including skill effects and the feel of impact. To ensure the highest quality, it needs a bit more refinement. We aim to provide visuals that will satisfy all Hunters in the June update.
Q. When will the new boss for Power of Destruction be released?
- A new boss named "Cthulli" will be added in June. Since the name "Power of Destruction" is closely tied to the "Monarch of Destruction," it was difficult to introduce a diverse range of bosses. Therefore, the name will be changed to "Power of Calamity" to allow for more variety.
The reward system will also be changed. A "Power of Calamity Exchange" will be provided, where you can use coins awarded based on your score to exchange for various items, including weapon skins. At the end of each season, a special honorary reward named after the top-ranked player will also be distributed.
Regarding illegal programs such as hacks, verification will be conducted beforehand during the process of distributing the 1st place rewards. The issue of hacking is like a battle between a spear and a shield, where breaching and blocking repeat, but we will ensure that a thorough check is performed at the very least when distributing ranking rewards.
The existing boss, Ennio, will not disappear completely. As Power of Calamity changes to a seasonal system, Cthulli and Ennio will take turns appearing. We felt that facing only one boss continuously might not be an enjoyable experience, so we hope this seasonal system will help improve that.
Q. Is there a way to re-watch story cinematics?
- We are aware of the feedback requesting a story replay feature. We are preparing to introduce this in June.
Q. Improvements to Auto Play are needed.
- We understand the feedback that Auto Play performance falls short compared to manual control. Issues such as skill usage priority have persisted. We are working on reinforcing the feature to automatically adjust skill order based on team and skill compositions, but unfortunately, we won't be able to showcase it in this update. We expect to show you an improved Auto Play system in June.
Q. When will Gem slot expansion be applied?
- We originally planned to expand Gem slots gradually. However, as Gems continue to stack up for many Hunters, we plan to update this in June. Additionally, regarding Gem equipping/unequipping improvements, it is difficult to implement in June, so we aim to update that by July.
Q. When will the roadmap for the second half of the year be released?
- We plan to reveal it through a Developer Note after the May update. We are preparing it separately because we believe providing a more definitive timeline for the long period of the second half of the year will be more helpful for Hunters. Since the 2nd Anniversary update is currently the main event, we focused on preparing for that first, and will provide the roadmap for the second half of the year shortly after.
Q. Please retroactively apply rewards for content that is being removed.
- There are contents being integrated through this update. For missions like the Guide Missions and "Train to Become a Formidable Combatant" that are currently in progress, any rewards that could not be fully obtained will be considered cleared for the remaining progress and will be sent to your mailbox.
Although it was a very challenging task due to the differing progress of each Hunter, we believed that retroactive application was the right way to go.
Q. When will the PVP event be held again?
- We previously showcased it as an event match. We have since worked on improvements based on the feedback from the surveys. As some expressed discomfort with manual controls, a version with automation features will be introduced in this update.
Q. The reorganizations following the update are difficult to understand.
- Artifacts underwent a major reorganization in the last update. We made improvements because the sheer variety of sets made it difficult to decide which character should use what, but as it was a transition period, some old sets continued to drop alongside the new ones.
From now on, Artifact farming will be changed so that only new Artifacts are dropped. This will eliminate confusion, and we plan to adjust the performance of new equipment through buffs to ensure they become the primary choice, addressing feedback that new gear felt weaker than existing ones.
As for Gates, the changes are aimed at enhancing convenience by removing the repetitive task of re-scanning to find specific ranks or Red Gates.
Q. Please provide more details about the previously revealed 27 SSR Hunters, 22 SSR Weapons, and 500 Selection Draws.
- This is one of the main reasons we are holding this live broadcast. From the perspective of new and returning Hunters, it is currently very difficult to build a full roster for each element. Our goal is to allow everyone to complete one deck per element so they can quickly settle in, challenge Guild Raids, and enjoy simulations. The 500 Selection Draws are designed to help build this roster, allowing you to select two specific targets with a structure that guarantees no "off-banner" pulls.
We have also noted feedback from existing Hunters who already have most characters and are concerned about what to do with duplicates. As mentioned in the Developer Note, we provide a feature to exchange fully transcended Hunters for other Hunters in the Exchange Shop. Following this event, the limit will be increased from two to three exchanges per month.
We understand that some of you may still have nothing left to exchange. For those who have dedicated so much time to the game, we will provide one "Premium Hunter Selection Ticket" each at Sung Jinwoo levels 120 and 140. These tickets will include the latest "Stacker" Hunters, excluding Antoine, who is being added in this update.
Q. Improvements for mobile optimization are needed.
- Recent issues have gone beyond frame drops, with the game completely crashing for some. We plan to implement a primary fix for the crashing issue during the 2nd Anniversary update and will continue to work on further improvements.
Q. Will new Artifacts be released alongside the new Elemental Buster class?
- Since we improved Artifacts to be used according to class, new Artifacts will indeed be released when the Elemental Buster class launches. However, as it may be difficult to complete a new Artifact set immediately, we plan to hold a crafting event at the time of release. This will help you gear up Liu Zhigang more easily.
We plan to set the number of crafting attempts much more generously compared to previous events, so we will ensure you don't have to worry too much about crafting Liu Zhigang’s Artifacts.
Additionally, we have received feedback regarding Artifact inventory expansion. There are technical difficulties in implementing this. We are also considering an event where you can salvage lower-tier or older set equipment to obtain new gear. Since we have reorganized the Artifact system, we are looking for a way to let you quickly consume old Artifacts without making those who have already salvaged theirs feel like they lost out.
We will put more thought into this and aim to provide a solution by the next broadcast.
Q. Are there any plans to hold Skin Events again?
We plan to continue holding Skin Events consistently. We will return with fresh and exciting events for you to enjoy.
Q. How do you plan to address the issue where damage output differs based on frame rate?
Development is currently underway to change skill structures into a form that ensures a consistent expected value regardless of frame rate differences.
Q. More Artifact Presets are needed.
We have noted this and will look into adding more presets for your convenience.
