Developer Note: 2nd Anniversary Eve

Greetings Hunters,
This is the Hunters Association TEAM.
It has been nearly two years since Solo Leveling: Arise began its journey with all of you.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the unwavering love and support you have shown us throughout this time. To honor your dedication, we are thrilled to kick off the 2nd Anniversary Eve celebration with our upcoming April update.
[Draw Support Overhaul]
In preparation for the 2nd Anniversary, our team has engaged in deep internal discussions to identify the most fundamental way to ensure Hunters can truly feel that obtaining Hunters and Sung Jinwoo's weapons has become more accessible through the Draw system.
As a result, we have reached a collective internal decision to completely revamp the Draw system, driven by our commitment to providing a superior gameplay environment as quickly as possible.
Starting from the upcoming April update, the required number of Draw Support counts for a guaranteed SSR rank will be lowered from 80 to 70.
As a result, the interval where the rate of an SSR appearance begins to increase for each draw will also be shifted forward.
By maintaining the basic structure while reducing the threshold for a guaranteed appearance, the pace of acquiring the SSR Hunters and weapons you desire will become much faster and more pleasant than before.

[New Hunter Check-in Overhaul]
Our team has carefully listened to various opinions that new Hunters starting the game or returning Hunters after a long break are experiencing difficulties in managing and growing their Hunters.
In particular, we deeply empathize with your feedback that it is difficult to find a clear direction on which Hunters to draw and develop first in the early stages of the game.
To help Hunters adapt more smoothly, we plan to completely overhaul the New Hunter Check-in system. We are providing this advance notice, and as the application date will not be immediately after the April update, we will provide a separate announcement regarding the specific timing.
The following items will be provided through the overhauled Check-in:
- ● 10 SSR Sung Jinwoo Weapons
- ● 12 SSR Hunters and 12 Exclusive Weapons
- ● 30 Weapon Custom Draw Tickets
- ● 30 Custom Draw Tickets
The primary goal of this Check-in overhaul is to provide a wide variety of Hunters directly so that you can experience and verify their gameplay feel for yourself.
As you personally experience the controls and skill chains of various Hunters, we hope you find the combat direction that best suits your own playstyle.
Furthermore, these overhauled rewards will be available not only to new and returning Hunters but also to all existing Hunters currently playing Solo Leveling:Arise.
[Elena Renault]

Have you ever met Elena Renault of the Foreign Hunters guild in the lobby?
Elena Renault is scheduled to join the roster as a new Water-element Supporter. Characterized by using Defense as her primary stat, her skill set focuses on providing buffs to Water-element teammates.
She will be arriving soon through the Rate-Up Draw, so please look forward to the new synergy Elena Renault will bring to your Water-element parties.
Additionally, Antoine Martinez, whose arrival was previously announced through the roadmap, will officially meet you in the upcoming May update.
We kindly ask for your generous understanding regarding the fact that his arrival is slightly later than the previously announced schedule.
[Improvements for a Better Gameplay Experience]
Regarding improvements, our team is continuously refining the system to ensure that Hunters can always enjoy a smooth gameplay experience.
- ● An Exit function will be added during Boundary of Illusions and Dreams play.
- - We have identified the inconvenience where Hunters were forced to continue fighting for the remaining duration or quit the game entirely, even when defeating the boss within the time limit was impossible. To resolve this, we will add a function to exit the dungeon at any time through the pause screen during combat to enhance play convenience.
- ● Battlefield of Time Temporary Closure and Challenge Mode Removal
- - To reduce the fatigue of repetitive daily play, the Battlefield of Time Challenge Mode will be removed starting from the upcoming May update. Along with this, the operation of Battlefield of Time will take a temporary break as we revamp the progression cycle and reward system to present it in a better form.
- ● We aim to assist in a smoother story progression by moving the unlock timing for the Auto Story Progression feature to the Normal 3-1 stage.
- ● The maximum floors for Battlefield of Trials will be expanded to Floor 90.
- ● A convenience feature will be added to allow consecutive Auto Progression for the Architect's Test stages.
- ● Tawata Kanae, Sung Il-Hwan, and Sung Jinwoo will newly appear as bosses in the Simulation Gate.
- ● An event will be held to reset the Reforge count of already refined Artifacts.
- ● Artifacts that have undergone a Reforge reset can be refined once more.
We will continue to listen to the voices of our Hunters to create an even more enjoyable environment, so please stay tuned.
[Balance Adjustments]
Our team is constantly monitoring the performance of Hunters to ensure you can create diverse party combinations and experience the core fun of action. As a result, we have decided to proceed with balance adjustments and system optimizations for certain Hunters, Artifacts, and weapons through the upcoming April update.
First, to improve combat efficiency and usability, the overall balance of the following Hunters will be adjusted:

- ● Meilin Fisher
- ● Pure Sword Princess Cha Hae-In
- ● Tawata Kanae
Additionally, regarding the Artifacts promised in the previous Developer Note, we will move beyond simple numerical buffs and proceed with a full-scale overhaul focused on improving the combat mechanics themselves for a smoother experience.
Furthermore, we plan to refine certain combat calculation mechanisms to allow Hunters to utilize element-based party combinations more strategically.
Currently, the 'Increase Elemental Damage Taken' effect possessed by some Hunters and weapons has been applied as part of the overall skill damage calculation formula.
We will optimize the calculation method so that it creates clearer synergy within the elemental damage category, aligning with the original meaning of the in-game text.
This optimization is part of our groundwork to emphasize the unique characteristics of Hunters specialized in specific elements in the long term and to further enhance the fun of various elemental strategies.
The targets for this calculation system optimization are as follows, and their performance will be improved through the optimization of combat rules:
● SSR Hunter (9 types) : Yoo Soohyun, Meilin Fisher, Harper, Gina, Shimizu Akari, Esil Radiru, Seorin, Sung Il-Hwan, Fern
● SSR Sung Jinwoo Exclusive Weapon (2 types) : Moonshadow, Stormbringer
● SSR Hunter Exclusive Weapon (2 types) : Go Gunhee's Exclusive Weapon, Hwang Dongsuk's Exclusive Weapon
Our team will continue to research and strive to ensure that Hunters can always enjoy a wide variety of actions.
[SLC 2026 and 2nd Anniversary Showcase]

SLC 2026, which will be held at the Jamsil DN Colosseum on April 25th, is being prepared with a variety of programs for our Hunters.
This event will feature a point-based league system, the first of its kind since SLC KOREA Season 1 in October 2024, and will also serve as a showcase where detailed information about the 2nd Anniversary update will be revealed for the first time.
Our team is currently focusing all our resources on preparing the presentation for the showcase and the upcoming updates, and we are eagerly looking forward to meeting you all in person.
