Notice on Actions Taken Against Policy-Violating Accounts

Greetings Hunters,
The Hunters Association has a notice for you.

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize to all Hunters for the deep disappointment caused by issues regarding the use of unauthorized programs and proxy play in relation to the recent Hall of the Monarchs rankings.

We also deeply apologize for the confusion and distress caused by our insufficient guidance and lack of transparent disclosures regarding the situation.

We fully empathize with the frustration our Hunters are currently experiencing, and we would like to transparently share the status of our past actions as well as our direction for future measures.

📌 Reasons for Delayed Action and Announcement
As mentioned in our previous notice ([Go to Notice on Measures Taken Against Accounts Violating Terms of Service]), sanctions against caught proxy play were previously limited to 'warnings' and 'exclusion from rankings.' These measures were applied based on relaxed standards compared to our Terms of Service and Operational Policy, aiming to minimize any excessive inconvenience that users might experience.

However, while monitoring the current situation, we determined that the severity of the sanctions in the previous notice was too lenient relative to the seriousness of the issue. The announcement was delayed as we thoroughly reviewed and confirmed plans to apply stricter and higher enforcement standards.

We sincerely apologize once again for the delay in delivering timely announcements and swift measures as requested by our Hunters.


📌 Stricter Enforcement Standards

Based on the judgment outlined above, we will apply significantly stricter and stronger measures against proxy play and the use of unauthorized programs, strictly adhering to our Terms of Service and Operational Policy. 

Enhanced enforcement standards will take effect starting with these current measures, and detailed criteria will be clearly outlined in a separate announcement.


📌 Continuous Monitoring and Log Investigation Methods

We have been continuously tracking and penalizing the use of unauthorized programs based on content usage log data. Beyond unauthorized software, we have also identified and verified targets for sanctions through in-depth analysis of proxy play circumstances.

This covers a full-scale investigation including connection environments, combat setups, damage records, and all other play data, alongside reported cases.

As the newly introduced 'Hall of the Monarchs' is a feature where our Hunters' effort and competition are concentrated, we will strictly enforce sanctions for any abnormal gameplay moving forward based on detailed factual investigations, adhering to a zero-tolerance policy under our Terms of Service and Operational Policy.


📌 Disclosure of Sanctioned Accounts

Listening to our Hunters who have requested the disclosure of sanctioned accounts alongside enforcement details, we will transparently publish the list of sanctioned players moving forward. The list of accounts identified regarding the Hall of the Monarchs content since 9/3(Thu), can be reviewed at the bottom of this announcement.


📌 Schedule for Finalized Enforcement Criteria

To establish a fair competitive environment while minimizing potential side effects from stricter enforcement, we are currently developing enhanced criteria applicable across all services. Finalizing these standards requires thorough consideration of consumer protection regulations across various operating regions, which is taking additional time.
The detailed enforcement criteria will be finalized by 9/10 and shared through a follow-up announcement.
