Temporary Workaround for Launcher Screen Display Issue After Netmarble Launcher Update

Greetings Hunters,

The Hunters Association has a notice for you.

We would like to inform you that following the recommended Netmarble Launcher update on 7/14 (Tue),

an intermittent issue has been identified where the launcher screen does not display properly.

We are currently investigating the root cause to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, please refer to the temporary workaround detailed below to restore access.

📌 Temporary Workaround (Option 1)

1. Completely close the Netmarble Launcher from the system tray icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.

2. Press the [Win + R] shortcut keys on your keyboard to open the "Run" window. Copy and paste the path below, then click "OK."

- Path  : %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Netmarble Launcher

3. Right-click the config.json file, select and select “Edit in Notepad”

or Right-click the config.json file, select "Open with," and choose "Notepad."

4.Find the line containing ["sandbox": true,] delete the entire line, and save the file.

※ Please make sure to delete the entire line, including the comma ( , ).

5. Restart the Netmarble Launcher.

※ If the issue persists even after applying this temporary workaround, please completely uninstall the Netmarble Launcher and reinstall it.

📌 Temporary Workaround (Option 2) 

1. Close the Netmarble Launcher.

2. Install the previous version of the Netmarble Launcher.

- Previous Netmarble Launcher Version: v.1.6.0

3. Run the [netmarble_launcher_restore_installer] file to restore the Netmarble Launcher to its pre-update state.

※  Please note: If the issue is temporarily resolved using this method, do not update the Netmarble Launcher until an official fix is released to prevent the issue from recurring.
